The curriculum consists of 20 lessons that introduce students to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 preparation course for their Remote Pilot License. It can be the beginning of an exciting professional career with a Federal pilot’s license that will allow students the opportunity to work in exciting fields like drone instruction, photography, survey, and many more categories of commercial drone aviation.

The presentation of each of the 20 lesson plans is divided into:
- Power point presentation/lecture
- Stage checks to evaluate progress
- Assigned homework
- References to the textbook, ASA Remote Pilot Test Prep
The students will be tested after each section with Stage Checks. You will find the blank answer sheets and the answer key for you in this packet. It is highly recommended providing immediate feedback as to how they are doing.
Make sure that all text questions are eventually covered and understood by the students. Their homework should include answering questions not asked on the Stage Checks. In the text, the explanations are found after the question and the answers are listed at the bottom of the page.
